Novamobili Sommier Storage Bed Base

The Italian made Novamobili Sommier storage bed base has no headboard as it is designed to be used with any wall-mounted headboard. As the covers are available in your own fabric (as well as fabrics, ecoleathers or leathers from Novamobili's collection, or one of our many easyclean fabrics from Romo/Villanova) it is possible to match your own headboard panel.

There are also a wide range of wall-mounted headboards to choose from in fabric or leather, as well as several wood finishes, or matt, gloss or oxidised lacquers, they can also incorporate drawers, hanging units or shelves. The storage base is sealed so it is dust free and has a huge amount of space inside. The base couldn't be easier to lift, as once you have lifted it slightly, the gas pistons take over and do all the hard work for you. There are two lift options; firstly, the base can be lifted to sit horizontally above the frame making changing the sheets extremely easy. Secondly, it lifts up from the headboard end for easy access to the storage area.

The Sommier bed shown in the main image has a wall-mounted Time headboard in rovere grigio finish and matching fabric panel, other images show it with a Space headboard in a rovere chiaro finish. These wall-mounted headboards and panels are not included in the prices listed here but are available on request.
