In conceiving Augusto, Van Duysen started with the idea of total comfort and softness, meticulously examining the ergonomics of the body in relation to the seating and backrest. The sophisticated metal frame that forms the base of the structure runs along the perimeter of the chair, emphasising its volume and giving it a light touch. To further enhance Augusto’s unique silhouette elegant piping in a range of colours runs around the cushions and seat back.

Removable covers can be selected in any of the fabrics and leathers in the Molteni&C collection, or you can use your own material subject to approval. For fabric covers the piping can be chosen in several grosgrain colours including anthracite and olive green. Leather covers will have matching leather piping. For optimal ergonomic comfort Molteni recommend adding at least one or more backrest cushions which can be selected from the drop down menu.
